Once upon a time, 7 years ago...

A wonderful family was made though marriage!! Today is our Anniversary, we have been married for 7 years!! Even though it feels like 50 sometimes. Jesse and I eloped on June 28, 2002 and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. It was so quiet and peaceful, more personal that way. Because of that, we have no pictures of us on our Wedding Day.

This is the closest there is, it was taken on June 4, 2002 (Jesse's B-day) I was 19 and he turned 24, Little Miss Rae had just turned 3, and what a difference 7 years makes!!

This was taken in March. I'm 25, Jesse is 30, Rae is 10, Payton is 5 1/2, Lil' Jesse is 4 and Logen is 2.

I am married to the most amazing man in the world, he works so hard for all of us. We always have everything we need and he is always there to make us all laugh. The last 7 years have been wonderful, I had always wanted to get married and have a family, be a mom. It is everything I hoped it would be and more. Jesse is the funniest person I have ever meet!!! He will walk though the house and out of the middle of no where start singing some weird song at the top of his lungs. He is such a wonderful Daddy, he is by far the kids favorite! He is my other half in so many ways its scary, I swear sometimes he can read my mind. He lets me help him work on the house and the vehicles, he even takes the time to answer all my questions.

I love more then anything in the world Jesse! Happy Anniversary!!

6 Years ago today........

A beautiful little girl named Payton Aubrie Erickson was born!!

Here is a little back story. This was the most worst pregnancy ever, but I loved every minute of it! I was so excited when we found out, we had been trying for a while. I started getting sick around the 3rd month and it was horrid. I pucked at least 4 times a day and lost 10 pounds in the first 4 months of pregnancy. I had to be put on an IV drip to keep me hydrated. At 5 weeks we had the ultra sound and fount out we were having a boy! That's right a boy! My doctor couldn't be there for it so a different Doc did the ultra sound. When she got back and looked at the chart she called us back in for a new ultra sound and said the other Doc had to be wrong and she wanted to see. Payton was being stubborn and would not show anything. So we went with the fact that we were having a boy. I was sick until about the 8th month, so the last month was bliss and agony at the same time. I was due on June 11, I went into labor on Fathers Day June 14, but my doctor was out of town so they stopped my labor and sent me home. On the 23rd I had this feeling that there was something wrong cause she wasn't moving as much as she normally did. I went in and had a fetal stress test and they said she was fine. Now with me being 2 weeks over due, on the 24th I finally went into labor again at about 5:00 a.m. not realizing that I was. I told Jesse to just go to work cause I didn't think it was real labor. Then at about 9 I realized it was, I called my Mom In Law and she came and took me to the hospital. At about 12 they broke my water and I called Jesse to come to the hospital. At this time I was only Dilated to a 4. By 6 I couldn't stand it anymore and got a epidural, that was when the doctor came in, checked me and told me there was a problem. He head was coming down the wrong way, so they tried to fix the problem and said they would be back in a bit to see if it had worked. At about 7:45 they came in and checked me and told me it didn't work I was only dilated to a 5 and I would have to have a C-Section, needless to say I was terrified. Finally at 9:25 P.M. my doctor starts laughing and holds her over the blue curtain and says "It's a Girl!!!" That is when the name changed form Peyton James to Payton Aubrie. I also sent my mom to go buy some girl clothes cause we had none, she wore lots of blue bows!!

Payton has been such a joy in our lives and a challenge at the same time. She is so full of life and happy almost all the time. She is a lot like her dad and very loud. She is a lot like me in the fact that she doesn't ever stop talking. She is very girly and loves to play dress up, she is my shadow and follows me everywhere I go. I am so happy we have Payton in our life!! We love you Payton, Happy Birthday baby girl!!!

Time 4 a hair cut!!

My Logen has some very weird hair, you know what I mean Chelle, Dexy is the same way. We decided a while ago to let Logens hair grow out to see how it would look. I loved it I thought he looked so cute with his hair long, and it was a lot easier to mange that way too. Well it so long it started to hang in his eyes and it was bugging him so I tried to give him a trim. A little around the ears and by his eyes. Not a good idea, he would not hold still and we had some issues. Needless to say I decided just do buzz it!

Here is the before, Left side!

Back

and, Right side.

Here is the after shot, he was not happy with me. The sound of the razor sacred him and he cried the whole time.

I don't think he likes it!

Payton's First Field Trip

So on June 1st was Payton's first field trip, she was so excited to get to go on a bus. We went to the Hogal Zoo! I haven't been there sense I was 13 so I knew I was going to get get lost, I figured I would just follow the buses. I decided I needed someone to come with me just in case so I called Britteny and asked her if she wanted to come and bring Soren and Alex. After I went and picked her up all the buses had already left, so I hauled ass to try to catch up, when we found 3 buses we figured that was them. I was ahead of them when I realized I had no clue where I was going, so I tried to slow down to get behind them. Didn't work, then all the sudden they turn on a street that didn't look like it was the right way. So I flipped a hooker and followed them the rest of the way, turns out it wasn't Payton's bus and she was already inside. It took us about 20 minutes to find her and then they told me she had to stay with the group she couldn't come with me!! I waited til her back was turned and Britt and I ran with the kids! Here are some pics! Enjoy!!
