As you can see we had an awesome Christmas!! All the kids received almost everything they asked for. Santa brought some pretty awesome stuff too. Gotta love that guy!!
My Jesse is the best, he got me a new camera and printer dock. I got him some San Francisco 49ers stuff. We got up around 7:30-8 o'clock, so that wasen't to bad.
All in all we had a lot of fun.
Here are some pics of the kids enjoying themselves.

Apparel Specialist
So apparently over the last week my manager has been giving me these odd jobs to see how I handle them. Then yesterday at work she started asking me all these weird questions. So I decided to ask her what was going on. I am no longer a "Temporary" worker, I am going to be a part time employee and am now the Apparel Specialist!! They are also training me in all the other departments so I can be the Store Specialist. I was pretty excited, it should be official after Christmas. That's when I'll get my raise and stuff. This is good news compared to the last few weeks. On December 3rd, Jesse was laid off. There wasn't enough work to keep him on, so he filed for unemployment the next day. Then this last Wednesday the unemployment office called to confirm it. The next day Titan Mechanical called and asked him to come back on Monday(today). Apparently he would rather pay Jesse to work for him, then pay Jesse and not have him work for him. But they told him they would keep him til Christmas, but can't make any promises after that. Needless to say things have been a little stressful around here lately. Hopefully we will be able to get things figured out.

Awesome Poem!!
New Christmas Poem
TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS,
HE LIVED ALL ALONE,
IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE MADE OF
PLASTER AND STONE.
I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY
WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE,
AND TO SEE JUST WHO
IN THIS HOME DID LIVE.
I LOOKED ALL ABOUT,
A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE,
NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS,
NOT EVEN A TREE.
NO STOCKING BY MANTLE,
JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND,
ON THE WALL HUNG PICTURES
OF FAR DISTANT LANDS.
WITH MEDALS AND BADGES,
AWARDS OF ALL KINDS,
A SOBER THOUGHT
CAME THROUGH MY MIND.
FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT,
IT WAS DARK AND DREARY,
I FOUND THE HOME OF A SOLDIER,
ONCE I COULD SEE CLEARLY.
THE SOLDIER LAY SLEEPING,
SILENT, ALONE,
CURLED UP ON THE FLOOR
IN THIS ONE BEDROOM HOME.
THE FACE WAS SO GENTLE,
THE ROOM IN SUCH DISORDER,
NOT HOW I PICTURED
A UNITED STATES SOLDIER.
WAS THIS THE HERO
OF WHOM I'D JUST READ?
CURLED UP ON A PONCHO,
THE FLOOR FOR A BED?
I REALIZED THE FAMILIES
THAT I SAW THIS NIGHT,
OWED THEIR LIVES TO THESE SOLDIERS
WHO WERE WILLING TO FIGHT.
SOON ROUND THE WORLD,
THE CHILDREN WOULD PLAY,
AND GROWNUPS WOULD CELEBRATE
A BRIGHT CHRISTMAS DAY.
THEY ALL ENJOYED FREEDOM
EACH MONTH OF THE YEAR,
BECAUSE OF THE SOLDIERS,
LIKE THE ONE LYING HERE.
I COULDN'T HELP WONDER
HOW MANY LAY ALONE,
ON A COLD CHRISTMAS EVE
IN A LAND FAR FROM HOME.
THE VERY THOUGHT
BROUGHT A TEAR TO MY EYE,
I DROPPED TO MY KNEES
AND STARTED TO CRY.
THE SOLDIER AWAKENED
AND I HEARD A ROUGH VOICE,
'SANTA DON'T CRY,
THIS LIFE IS MY CHOICE;
I FIGHT FOR FREEDOM,
I DON'T ASK FOR MORE,
MY LIFE IS MY GOD,
MY COUNTRY, MY CORPS.
THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER
AND DRIFTED TO SLEEP,
I COULDN'T CONTROL IT,
I CONTINUED TO WEEP.
I KEPT WATCH FOR HOURS,
SO SILENT AND STILL
AND WE BOTH SHIVERED
FROM THE COLD NIGHT'S CHILL.
I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE
ON THAT COLD, DARK, NIGHT,
THIS GUARDIAN OF HONOR
SO WILLING TO FIGHT.
THEN THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER,
WITH A VOICE SOFT AND PURE,
WHISPERED, 'CARRY ON SANTA,
IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY, ALL IS SECURE.
ONE LOOK AT MY WATCH,
AND I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT.
'MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND,!
AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT.

Christmas Party
So yesterday was the Annual Floyd Family Christmas Party last night. I hosted it at my house this time, tried to give Maxine a brake. All of the little kids made gingerbread house's. We had a ton of really good food too. I hope everyone had fun, it was good to spend time with everyone. We missed Ted this year too, wished he could have made it!

Logens 2nd Birthday
So Monday was Logen's 2nd Birthday. I can't believe my baby is two already! We had some company with us. Jesse's friend from St. George, Shawn and his wife were in town for some tests at the U. So they celebrated it with us.
This is his cake and boy did he like it too.
We didn't have much money this time so we did our little thing at home, but it was fun.

Stupid Qwest
Stupit Qwest pretty much explaines it. Not that much has happened lately. Rae's mother Della was here to pick he up the weekend before Thanksgiving. Jesse was playing around with Rion, Rae's little brother. Jesse screamed and was holding his arm. We figured he just spranged it. In the morning it was all swollen and looked weird. So I took him to the doctor, he had a hairline fracture in his wrist. He had to get three x-rays and only cried on one cause they bent it backwards. He was happy he got to pick out the color of is cast though.
