Movin' on up......

To the East side......of St. George!

We have decided to move back to St George, we are leaving this weekend, the 3rd. We have had our home on the market for almost a year now, we have had more problems then I can count with Bank of America. They are EVIL!!!!!! Even my Realtor agrees, they are totally screwing us out of our house. We are listing it as a short sale just so we can get away from them and start over!
We got a cute house over on the St. George /Washington boarder. 195 N 2360 E. St. George , Ut 84790 if yall want to look it up on google. It is in a cu-d-sack with a park just 2 streets over. the schools are within walking distance, except Rae's. We signed a 12 month lease, so we will hopefully be able to work on our credit and find a permanent place later on.
I am going to miss the snow soooo much and this house, cause it is my dream house and we have put so much time and work into it, it will be hard to leave. I think most of all I am going to miss my best friend and confidant, it will be so hard to be without her, I cry every time I think about it!!! ='(

So here's to starting over and hoping that the future will be better then the last 3 years have been!!!!!

Vacation (sorry kinda long)

So We decided while the kids were off track we should go on a little Vacation. We called Jesse's brother Wesley and asked if we could come to Vegas and spend some time with him. We stopped by Mom and Dad's on the way ans spent the night with them and then headed off for Vegas! Wes had acquired a new boat recently and thought it would be fun to take it out, so we headed to Lake Mead! Jes has been there a million times but the kids and I hadn't been before, it was Payton, Jesse, and Logen's first time on a boat! I was surprised they did so well, here are some pics, Enjoy!

Pulling up to the Marina at the Lake.

We went to the side of the Hoover Dam so the kids could see the new bridge they just built it was so awesome!

We tied the boat off to both sides and let the kids play in the water in the shade. Wes climbed up on a rock and was gonna jump in but he got a little scared. He did eventually jump when our rope to the anchor broke! Payton and Jesse jumped right off, scared the hell out off me, it was their first time in a big body of water and they didn't even care.

Rae was a little scared of the boat at first, she was sitting in the back and it was a little rough back there. I made her come the front of the bow and sit with me, she loved it!

Wes, baby Jane and Rae!

Jesse an the kids, headed off to find a little beach to play at.

We saw this cool Tour Boat too!

I have never seen a catfish before let alone this close up! They were just hanging out at the dock waiting for people to feed them the kids loved that too!

So we hung out in Vegas for about 3 days then decided to go see the Grandparents in St. George. We went to the water park with Mom and Dad but the sprinkler thingy was closed. They have this little lazy river type thing so we went to that and let the kids play!

My adorable kidos soaking up the sun!

Logen did not want his picture taken, he was very mad at me!

Cooling off in the lazy river, Jesse was a little cold!

Logen did have a super fun time jumping off the rocks in to the water!
We had an awesome time and can't wait to get to go out as a family for Vacation again! The kids go back on track the day after Labor day and are in I think til November Break, so it may be a while ;)

Update

So its been a long time so I figured I would give y'all a little update on our life for the time being.

The kids started school Rae went into 6th grade, her last year in elementary school. Her teacher is from Southern Africa, his name is Mr. Raubenheimer, he is an awesome teacher and she really likes him. She is on the safety patrol this year too, she is full of all sorts of new responsibilities.

Payton in now in 2nd grade, her teacher was a first grade teacher last year so kind of knows her a little. Her name is Mrs. Coley and she is very nice and Payton really likes her too. Payton's last teacher in St. George was very rude and pessimistic, so I'm glade she has someone who is very optimistic this year!

My Jesse boy started Kindergarten this year, he has the same kindergarten teacher Payton had so he knows her real well. Her name is Mrs. Taintor, she said he is way above bench mark and is transitioning very well to school. Jesse loves it and has made tons of new friends, he is also the biggest kid in his class, he towers over everyone in there, he is almost as tall as his teacher!!

Logen is jealous and wants to go to school so bad, we leave the school and the rest of the afternoon he asks when do we go pick up Ja James (what he calls Jesse) He is getting so big it makes me so sad my baby is almost 4!

So as for the house, it still hasn't sold, so we did a little improvement to see if it would help!

Before

After

Closer up so you can see the color better.

So for 1 I don't recommend doing it all by hand and rolling it, it took forever and we ended up way burnt. We did however save a ton of money on paint, if we were to have spayed it we would have used a lot more paint, we were told it would take 5-5 gallon bucket to spray it or 3-5 gallon buckets to roll it. If you can't tell the color is a Moss Green with a lighter Green for the trim. We originally were going to do the trim white but it looked to bright we went back through and painted it green.

So what do you think??

Heading Home!

So as the school year comes to an end on May 27 we have decided it is time we should head home. Our realtor is lets see how do I put this nicely, he is completely inept. He never kept us informed about anything, and I always had to call him for info. We figured it would be to our advantage to not be in the home, so it would stay nice and clean, it wasn't. So we will try again with a new realtor and stay home and hopefully have more of an connection with the sale. The girls are happy and sad at the same time, happy to get to see old friends, but sad to be leaving G-ma and G-pa. Della (Rae's mom) is moving to Victorville CA. so she probably won't get to see her as much as she normally does. We will hopefully be back to St. George, it is were we eventually want to end up, if our house will just sell. We will miss Mom and Dad so much ,but we are so very Thankful for them letting us crash their house for the past 6 months. They are the best and the kids will miss them very much too.

There is this really awesome Bed and Breakfast that was built in 1912 that is so cool it has 7 bed 5 bath, it also has a 2 bed 2 bath guest house in the backyard too. It is something we are really interested in, and would love to get to buy and fix up, but who knows.

So that's about all for right now and we will be "Seeing" you soon!

Hula Dance

So my girls were in their first performance for Hula. They were asked to perform for the Temple workers at the Temple Presidents house. I think they did a very good job for only working on it for 1 hour on Mondays for 5 weeks.

Poor Payton is so sick, she didn't want to miss the performance so we gave her some medicine and hoped she could make it though. You could tell near the end she was starting to fell bad again. The 85 degree weather I'm sure didn't help much either!

I could not believe how good Rae could move her hips!! I must say I was very impressed. =)

The first thing Logen did was eat the heads of the Peeps.

Rae's new puzzle!
working on the puzzle,

W all sat and watched Conference. We had some very yummy potato salad, deviled eggs, BBQ pork chops, corn on the cob, and apple sauce. All in all we had a wonderful Easter!!

Improvments

So this last two weeks Jesse and I have been trying to update our house more so that it will sale better. We came up for Braxtons Baptism and then started on our house on Sunday.

So here are the befores for the Bathroom

And here are the afters.

We also revamped the stairs, made a new place setting for the table, ( hey Britt, Cock a-doddle- dooo) and chnged some furniture around! We added new beadboard to the basement room to make it look more homey and we put in new flooring. We also put in new flooring on the very top level too.

We hope that it will do the trick and the house will sell!
