Ambulance Ride

So as I said last time all my kids have been sick. Yesterday was when Logen turn started. At about 2 a.m. Friday Logen started to have problems breathing, I was up almost all night with him. We had a few errands to run that day, by the time we were done it was time to pick up the girls from school. When we got home his breathing had gotten worse. I decided to take him to the Instacare. Anngee watched the other kids for me (Thanks Anngee!!!) When we got there his vitals were at 89 and his heartbeat was way to fast. The gave him a steroid to open up his lungs, then it had the opposite effect. He couldn't breath and started to freak out!! They called an ambulance and gave him some form of epinephrine to reopen his lungs. About 5 minutes later the ambulance arrived, and we were off. On the way there they had him on 100% oxygen. If they pulled it away his vitals would drop instantly. When we got there they did a bunch of test and stuff and it was confirmed that he has Croup. At 6 they told us he was going to stay overnight. Jesse left to go get the kids cause Anngee and shane had an appointment. He didn't make it on time so Mark went and got them for him( Thanks so much Mark!!) It wasn't a fun night, he cried a lot and boy does he hate to be touched!! The second a Nurse would walk in he would tell them to "get out" or "go away". They let us go at about 10:30-11:00 in the morning. He is doing much better now, just a little cough. They told us to just keep a close eye on him. I have to take him to his doctor on Monday for a check-up. Thanks everyone so much for all your help, Your awesome!! I will post Rae's pictures of her Birthday tomorrow.

I'm glad your little guy is okay - that's pretty scary.

I'm so happy he is feeling better. There is nothing worse than seeing a little one sick, especially like that.

I'm glad it didn't turn out to be something worse like RSV. I hope he gets feeling better. Good luck
